Adding Transactions
You can add employee, equipment, and material transactions to the work items in Mobile311.
- Click the Select Tool ().
- Draw a circle on the map around the desired work items. *Note: You do not have to complete the circle. Once the select items are highlighted, you can let go of the mouse. The selected items are highlighted on the map and information for each item appears in a numbered list in the data grid.
- Under the Work Items tab in the data grid, click the Edit button next to the Work Item you want to add information to.
- In the Edit Work Item pop up window, select either the Employee, Equipment, or Materials tab to enter the necessary transactions.
Employee Transactions
Enter the labor and overtime hours for employees working on this work item.
- Click on the Employees tab in the pop up window.
- The Service Date will populate with today's date, but you can enter a new date or select one from the calender icon.
- Start typing the name of the Employee in the field. The system will search for matches for you to select. *Note: You can also click the magnifying glass icon to select the name from a drop down list.
- Enter the number of Hours and Overtime Hours for the employee on this date.
- If you need to add hours for another employee, click Add Employee and enter their information.
- When all hours have been entered, click Save.
Equipment Transactions
Enter the equipment used to work on this work item and the number of hours the equipment was in use.
- Click on the Equipment tab in the pop up window.
- The Service Date will populate with today's date, but you can enter a new date or select one from the calender icon.
- Start typing the name of the Equipment in the field. The system will search for matches for you to select. *Note: You can also click the magnifying glass icon to select the equipment name from a drop down list.
- Enter the number of Hours the equipment was used in the Quantity field.

If you need to add other equipment to this work item, click Add Equipment and enter that information.
- When all equipment has been entered, click Save.
Materials Transactions
Enter the materials used to complete work on this work item.
- Click on the Materials tab in the pop up window.
- The Service Date will populate with today's date, but you can enter a new date or select one from the calender icon.
- Start typing the name of the Materials in the field. The system will search for matches for you to select. *Note: You can also click the magnifying glass icon to select the material from a drop down list.
- Enter the Quantity of material used.

If you need to add other materials to this work item, click Add Material and enter that information.
- When all materials have been entered, click Save.
If you need to edit a transaction, you can easily do so by removing the current information from the transaction and replacing it with the updated information. Be sure to click Save after each change you make. To view the history of changes made to a transaction, click the Audit button.
